Exciting art in room 1

After our yummy day yesterday eating paua slices (done in egg and bread crumbs) today we are making a rock pool diorama. We are putting in the sea pages we made by blowing bubbles in dye and putting our paper on top to make a pattern.  That's the background.  Inside the diorama we are going to put crabs and fish and octopus - all the things we saw at the rocky shore.

Music in Room 1

Today we sang, and made music with all our instruments.  Here we are making up a percussion story.

Fishing

Today we had a visit from Gary and Robert who were fisheries officers.  They help people know what sized fish they can catch, what sized paua they can get, and they showed us how to catch crayfish - "yummy" said Heather.  We all got badges so we are junior fisheries officers.  Here we are all wearing our badges.  Even Beary good Bear got one to wear.

My Christmas Surprise

 

On  Christmas   day   my  dad  is  coming  back  home  because   he is  sick  of   living  with  Rocky.

I can't wait for Dad to come home.  Christmas is going to be such fun with Mum and Dad and me!
