The lawns are trimmed, the cones are out, along with the rake and measuring tape, the discus and shot put have been polished, the crash pad and hurdles are out and waiting patiently for the children to run, jump, throw and leap as high and as far as they can. Yup it's athletics day! It's all on and we can't wait.
The children were able to show off their impressive skills in front of proud parents, grandparents and whanau members. I was so proud of the children for showing their 'give it a go attitudes'.
